List of All Famous/Notable African Americans

There are a lot of good lists of famous African Americans on the Web, though no single list is exhaustive. Here are some of the better ones I've come across:

• Infoplease: African American Biographies, A to Z
• About.com: Black Inventors A to Z
• Wikipedia: Various lists of African Americans [this is a meta list that refers to other Wikipedia lists!
• About.com: Notable African American Women

Again, the above lists won't be exhaustive, but they will certainly get you started. I'll add more resources to this list as I go through my notes and sort out everything I've bookmarked.
